Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a system of manual medicine which focuses on the relationship between the function of the body and its structure. By physically treating the structure of the body, it has the ability to normalise and re-align. By doing so, it allows the function and, therefore, overall health to improve.

Osteopaths work to support the fact that the body is self-regulating and will perform best when all systems of the body are balanced and functioning efficiently. This includes, but is not limited to, the musculoskeletal, circulatory, nervous and digestive systems.

Osteopaths focus on the whole body as well as looking at lifestyle issues that may be contributing to the situation. Read more...

  Naturopathy
Naturopathy is an holistic healthcare modality that aims to support our body’s ability to heal itself by creating balance in all aspects of our life. Most Naturopaths incorporate self-help strategies with proven medicines from all ages to enhance our body’s natural defences and healing powers.

Naturopaths may advise on dietary and lifestyle changes, meditation, self-awareness and counselling, as well as prescribing herbs, homeopathic remedies, nutritional supplements, flower essences and/or exercise regimens.

Naturopaths often cooperate with Western medical practitioners to give the best combination of care for each individual. The aim is to create a pathway to joyful health for each person in a way that is most suited to the needs of each individual.
  Homeopathy
The Homeopathic principle is ‘like cures like’ or the ‘principal of affinities’. Their efficacy has been established by experiments and clinically tested by practitioners in this field since the early 19th century. A very detailed picture is taken of how each person expresses their emotional and physical symptoms – once the remedy is selected based on this individual picture a remedy can be used to help heal body, mind and spirit.

Having access to over 2000 remedies and each one capable of healing a vast range of different physical and emotional complaints makes this a highly individualised system of healing. They are derived from nature, animal, plant or mineral based which are made into a safe and effective energetic form.

Homoeopathy as a healing system is completely compatible and complimentary to other healing modalities.

  Medical Intuitive
A Medical Intuitive uses their natural intuitive abilities, together with guidance from Spirit, to find the root cause of people’s physical, emotional and psychological illness. Medical Intuition is the ability to use one’s intuition or psychic ability to “read” and assess physical illness or imbalance in the body and trace this back to its original cause. A Medical Intuitive is not only “seeing" illness as it presents in the physical body, they are also assessing and viewing the energy system of each client. People are astounded by the clarity a Medical Intuitive provides, not only often confirming what they are told by their medical practitioner, but going so much deeper into the “how” “why” “when” of their illness and “what” they can do to alter this and make themselves well.

Energetic/Alternative Healing
Alternative Healing may be defined as any method of healing that varies from traditional Western Medicine. At Liforce, we are pleased to offer some of the finest current and ancient modalities that can be called “alternative healing”.

Included in this category is : hands on healing, Matrix Energetics, crystal healings, quantum energy tools, Bowen Therapy and N.S.T, Archetypal charts and readings, personal counseling sessions through the energy system of the body.

Massage
Massage incorporates the use of purposeful touch to the body, whether it be firm, soft or in a particular style or using a certain technique. It is generally used to affect a positive change in the body’s soft tissue, although some forms of massage focus on the body’s internal systems, such as digestion, mental state and energy.

Massage is useful for reducing pain, oedema (swelling), depression, anxiety and stress. It also promotes relaxation, increased joint range of motion, blood and lymph flow, a healthier immune system and loosens adhesions (knots). Massage is known to elevate endorphin levels, which circulate the body to create a positive mood and overall feeling of wellness.

It is important to note that your health is of primary concern and massage, in the following cases, will be of detriment to your wellbeing and consequently not performed.

- Acute injury (eg: broken bones)
- Sudden onset of inflammation
- Aneurism
- Embolism
- Fever
- Haemophilia
- Infectious skin conditions
- Kidney failure
- Leukaemia
- Malignant tumours
- Tuberculosis
